Shuhei Itoga graduated from the Musashino Academia Musicae and its graduate school. He completed the New National Theatre, Tokyo Opera Studio. He studied in Italy through the Agency for Cultural Affairs Artist Overseas Training program in 2010. He won an award in the International Competition Enzo Sordello and the role of Count Almaviva in “Il Barbiere di Siviglia”. In Japan, he has appeared in the New National Theatre, Tokyo productions of “La Bohéme”, “Salome”, “Le nozze di Figaro”, “Die tote Stadt”, “Falstaff”, “Salome”, “Madama Butterfly”. He has also performed the role of Merkur in the 2015 Nikikai Opera production of “Die Liebe der Danae” and the role of Goro in the Tokyo Philharmonic Subscription Concert “Madama Butterfly”（ Mo. Myung-Whun Chung）. In November 2017, he sang the role of Alfred in the Tokyo Nikikai Opera’s “Cooperation Production with the Komische Oper Berlin” of “Die Fledermaus”（ Andreas Homoki director）. He is a member of the Nikikai Opera Foundation.
